The Allen & Heath GL2400-24 is a professional, road-ready 24-channel live sound console designed for front-of-house, monitor mixing, or dual-function operation. Building on the success of the GL2200 series, the GL2400 introduces a range of refinements that make it a trusted choice for touring engineers, production companies, houses of worship, and permanent installations.

At its core are newly designed extended-headroom microphone preamps, delivering greater dynamic range, lower noise, and improved clarity across demanding live environments. The console’s 6 auxiliary sends provide ample flexibility for monitor mixes, effects, or IEM routing, while 4 subgroups with inserts allow for efficient signal management.

One of the GL2400’s standout features is its 7×4 matrix, which supports advanced routing for recording feeds, zone mixes, broadcast sends, and in-ear monitor systems, including innovative mic cross-patching options. A dedicated mono output with fader control can be configured as an LR sum, aux-fed subwoofer output, center fill, or engineer’s wedge—adding further versatility.

Additional highlights include two stereo input channels with dual stereo line inputs and mic capability, a responsive 4-band EQ with swept mids, and an ultra-quiet mix head amp design for clean, reliable signal paths. The mixer also supports Sys-Link V2 console linking and features a rugged all-steel chassis, modular construction, and a thoughtfully laid-out surface designed for fast, intuitive operation in real-world conditions.
