The GAS Audio Sigma 500 is a highly flexible 32-channel passive summing mixer that also functions as a powered 2-in / 2-out 500-series rack, making it a powerful centerpiece for hybrid analog/digital workflows. Designed to integrate seamlessly with your favorite 500-series preamps and processors, the Sigma 500 delivers exceptional tonal versatility without sacrificing simplicity or recallability.

At its core, the Sigma 500 offers three distinct operating modes, allowing it to adapt effortlessly to mixing, tracking, or external analog summing setups:

SUM Mode converts your installed 500-series preamps into active summing amplifiers. Odd-numbered channels are routed to the left preamp and even-numbered channels to the right, creating wide, detailed stereo imaging when summing DAW stems.

ALT Mode bypasses the summing bus entirely, routing the ALT XLR inputs directly to the 500-series slots. This mode is ideal for recording, signal routing, or powering EQs, compressors, and other 500-series processors.

PASSIVE Mode isolates the summing circuitry for use with external rack or tabletop preamps, giving you complete freedom to choose your preferred analog gain stage.

With no onboard faders or pan controls, the Sigma 500 is purpose-built for effortless recall and consistency. Changing the character of your mix is as simple as swapping preamps, making this system both modular and future-proof.

Previously used with cosmetic wear consistent with normal studio use. Fully tested and functions exactly as intended.
