Personal Thoughts:
This Modern HSH spec is classic Suhr — precision-built, ultra-stable, and unapologetically performance focused. The basswood/maple construction keeps the response tight and balanced, while the ebony board adds snap and clarity, making this guitar incredibly articulate even under high gain.
The DSH bridge pickup delivers punchy, aggressive drive with excellent note separation, while the DSV neck provides warmth and fluidity for lead work. The addition of the middle single coil gives this guitar genuine versatility, covering everything from modern prog tones to convincing single-coil textures.
Deep Sea Blue paired with black hardware is a timeless, stealthy look — modern without being flashy.
