The Pigtronix Class A Boost Micro is a high-fidelity preamp designed to add "warmth" and "fatness" to your tone without coloring the natural sound of your guitar and amp.
Pristine Signal Path: Utilizes discrete J-FET transistors in a single-ended "Class A" configuration, offering a warmer, more musical response than standard IC-based boosts.
Massive Volume Lift: Delivers up to 20dB of clean boost, perfect for pushing the front end of a tube amp into natural saturation or providing a lead volume jump.
Dual Voltage Versatility: While it runs on standard 9V, it is optimized for 18V DC operation. Using 18V increases the internal headroom significantly, providing a punchier, "hi-fi" response.
Ultra-Low Noise: Designed with superior signal-to-noise performance, allowing it to be placed anywhere in your chain—before your drive pedals for more gain, or after for a pure volume boost.
Pedalboard Friendly: The Micro chassis (approximately 3.75" x 1.5") fits into the tightest setups while maintaining a "tuxedo-style" aesthetic.
