Electric nylon guitars have been gaining renewed attention in recent years.The Six Nylon is a long-selling model from Crews Maniac Sound, featuring a hollow-body construction and incorporating Crews’ original design ideas.

As nylon-string guitar sounds are once again being appreciated for solo guitar, accompaniment, and adding color within tracks, electric nylon guitars have become increasingly popular.

The Crews Maniac Sound Six Nylon stands out among electric nylon guitars thanks to its exceptional playability, lightweight body, and beautiful, focused tone with a solid core.

It maintains excellent playability across all positions, accommodating both traditional classical playing styles and approaches more akin to electric guitar techniques. The neck shape and overall resonance balance are carefully designed to allow stress-free performance, even with tension chords, full picking, and dynamic playing styles.

Phrases that are often difficult to play on standard electric nylon guitars—such as extensive high-fret work or thumb-over techniques—become much more accessible, greatly expanding the player’s expressive range.

Although it has an electric-guitar-like appearance, there is ample space between the strings and the top, with no protrusions such as magnetic pickups, making fingerstyle playing extremely comfortable.

In addition to producing a beautifully acoustic-like clean tone, the Six Nylon also delivers strong presence with light crunch settings and effect-heavy environments. It is highly recommended for players who frequently use delay and reverb, as well as for those who record or perform live via direct input.

The body features a hollowed alder back with a beautiful maple top.

The nut width is 46mm, allowing for a smooth transition from electric or acoustic guitars.

The bridge is made of rosewood, and the piezo pickup is installed beneath the bridge saddle. A Crews original preamp and 9V battery are housed in the rear control cavity. The control layout consists of volume only.

The guitar is shipped strung with D’Addario Extra Hard Tension nylon strings.
