The Gibson 2018 SG Special delivers the iconic lightweight, double-cutaway design and distinctive tone the model is famous for, straight from Gibson's USA workshop. It features a solid mahogany body and a set mahogany neck with a comfortable rounded profile and a 24.75" scale length. This particular Special is equipped with a pair of Gibson mini-humbuckers, providing a brighter, more articulate, and slightly less mid-heavy voice compared to standard humbuckers, offering exceptional clarity and chime. The sound is controlled with individual volume and tone knobs and a 3-way switch.

This guitar arrives with the solid feel and slightly broken-in playability of a well-cared-for American-made instrument. The mini-humbuckers deliver their unique, clear, and punchy response, the hardware is stable, and the finish shows only minor cosmetic character from respectful play. This guitar sounds amazing!
