Vincent Bach Stradivarius Model 42BOG Professional Trombone.

The Bach 42BOG (42, Brass Lacquer, Open Wrap, Gold Brass Bell) features an 8-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered bell, a .547" large bore, open wrap, and F trigger attachment. It had chrome plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes. It also has the hard to find upgrade of a gold brass bell for added warmth.

The Bach 42 is the most popular professional trombone in the United States. The 42BO is the model I e recommended to all of my most serious hs and college music student throughout my career. Exceptional clarity, warm, rich full sound and amazing projection.

This instrument looks absolutely new and untouched. I can find absolutely no evidence of use on it whatsoever. Not a scratch, a smudge - nothing. It’s absolutely perfect. Even the mouthpiece looks new. It looks like it was unwrapped and inserted into the shank once and never even tried. The instrument appears to be in perfect, mint condition.

The instrument comes in the original Bach vanguard style hardshell leather-covered case. The interior of the curse is absolutely mint. The exterior has some very light signs of being stored, but is also near perfect. The case has brown leather exterior and a dark blue velvet interior. The Bach plaque on the exterior is perfect. The trombone also comes with a Bach 6 1/2 AL large shank mouthpiece - again like new. Looks like it was maybe inserted once but never played. Still has the box. The original warranty card and care manual, as well as new cleaning rod are also included.

This trombone would be perfect for any serious college music major or graduate student, professional soloist or symphony player, or extremely serious/high level hs student on private lessons. This would be a perfect life-long top of the line horn for a high level amateur.

This trombone with the open wraps and gold bell currently wholesales for $5,150 and has an MSRP of nearly $7,500. Here’s a chance to save thousands on what seems to be a brand new instrument.
