For sale: a well-cared-for F.E. Olds Ambassador trumpet (serial 662076), estimated to be made in 1968. This instrument is in very good playing condition — valves are smooth, tuning slides move freely, and all parts are present and functional. The water keys have fresh corks installed.
Cosmetically the lacquer shows some wear and there are a few small dents and dings consistent with a used instrument (please see photos). These do not affect playability. Finish is original lacquer in the body and bell (areas with missing lacquer are shown in photos).
This comes with a soft case and a Vincent Bach 7C silver mouthpiece, plus cleaning cloth, valve oil, and a brush set — everything needed to get the horn in playing condition right away.
Playability: Smooth action and good response across registers; ideal for students, marching band, or a player seeking a vintage Ambassador with great mechanical condition.
