Neve 33117 1970's Mic Line 2 Channel Preamp Pair

Essentially the renowned Neve 33114, but without the EQ section. Also very similar to the amp design of a Neve 1081 mic pre, but in a narrower/taller frame. Like the other models mentioned, the 33117 has A/B output amplifiers, as well as input transformers on both the mic and line inputs.

This pair comes installed in a Professional Audio Design Inc chassis and power supply. The chassis has instrument and line in on 1/4" jacks on front panel as well as phantom power and output level attenuator on each channel. The rear of chassis has xlr mic input, xlr line input, and xlr line output connectors. The input gain is controlled by the knob on the 33117, and polarity/phase button on the neve.

The two 33117 units appear to be consecutive serial numbers, though I can't be certain as the last portion of one of the Neve serial numbers has been torn/broken off since before I owned the units. I've had these roughly 15 years or more, and they were fully serviced about 9 years ago by Ken McKim at Trouble Report. Since that time, they have seen overall very little use, with exception of being used in a full time studio environment (a friend of mine) for the last year or so where they get used on a lot of country, rock, and americana records for guitars, bass, drums.

All are in very good working order. These are vintage units, so sold as is without a warranty period.
