- Here’s one of the nicest modern cymbals you will ever run across - or not run across - it’s extremely rare and sold out:
- LIMITED 40th Anniversary Sabian RAW BELL ARTISAN 22” RIDE with bag and certificate in Immaculate condition.
- And you can listen to this exact 3472 gram beauty! These were $1000 when they debuted. But you cannot get them today.
- This one is perfect!
- Dark. Semi-dry stick attack but with the warmth and light complexity of the fully-lathed and Hand Hammered Artisan - the nicest of all Sabian cymbals.
- The generous Raw Bell cuts superbly and gives it a bit more bite when crashes upon as well.
- And yet this Artisan is so lush and beautiful it even sings with mallets - could easily be an orchestral suspended cymbal. Very full and can roar!
- Dry. Dark. Terrific straight up stick attack that cuts a mix superbly. But this beautiful 22” still retains that hand-crafted, Hand Hammered complexity the Artisan Series is famous for!
- Sabian describes it as:
“Nothing has been rushed. Each artisan original is handmade, slow made, to ensure unrivaled sound. Signed by the Master Cymbalsmith, every hammer swing, every lathe cut, bears the unique imprint of its maker.”
- A celebration of Sabian’s dedication to the centuries-old art of cymbal-making and a gorgeous, collectible piece of music instrument history.
- Perfect with the 40th Anniversary An astounding meticulously crafted piece. Easily playable. Definitely Collectible.
- One of the nicest cymbals there is.
