Unleash Your Inner Rock 'n' Roll Renegade:
1991 Fender Japan TLAC-950 Thinline Telecaster – Super Sweet and Rarin' to Riff!
Picture this: It's 1991, the grunge gods are stirring, and Fender's Japanese wizards in the Fujigen factory craft a masterpiece – the TLAC-950 Thinline Telecaster. This thing is in excellent condition for its age with a few small dings and light scratches that remind you of the epic jam sessions with a few juicy stories to tell. We've got her professionally dialed in, setup fresh as a spring twang, with low action, buzz-free bends, and intonation so spot-on it'll make your fingers dance.
Why This Thinline Will Steal Your Heart (and Your Amp's Soul):
That Iconic Semi-Hollow Howl: Lightweight mahogany body with a carved top, chambered for breathy resonance that blooms from jangly cleans to snarling overdrive. Pair it with your favorite pedals, and watch tones explode like a fireworks finale!
Playability Nirvana: Slim C-neck, rosewood fretboard, 21 medium-jumbo frets – buttery smooth, lightning-fast, and begging for your wildest riffs. She's 25.5" scale perfection, weighing in light enough for all-night gigs without the ache.
Pickup Powerhouse: The Heart of the TLAC-950's Sonic Soul
Nestled within the resonant chamber of the 1991 Fender Japan TLAC-950 Thinline Telecaster lies a groundbreaking pickup configuration that fuses electric fire with acoustic purity, making it a chameleon for tone explorers everywhere. The neck position hums with a USA-made Lace Sensor Silver – a radiant, low-impedance marvel that delivers crystalline clarity and vintage sparkle without the hum, offering bell-like highs, articulate mids, and a warm, responsive low end that sings through pedals and amps with effortless finesse. Under the bridge saddle, the piezo transducer captures the guitar's semi-hollow mahogany soul, channeling uncolored acoustic authenticity straight from the strings – think rich, woody body thumps and shimmering harmonics that evoke an unplugged Tele under stadium lights. Blended via an active mixing circuit (powered by a 9V battery for pristine signal integrity), these pickups unlock a sonic universe: Solo the Lace Sensor for shimmering country twang or bluesy sustain that rivals a sunlit Strat; dial in the piezo for folk-fingerpicking intimacy or percussive strums that cut like a dreadnought; or blend them for hybrid heaven – jangly indie cleans with acoustic air, overdriven rock roars laced with natural reverb, or even jazz-infused warmth that blooms with every chord. This isn't just versatile; it's revolutionary, turning battle scars into badges of boundless expression, where every note feels alive, unfiltered, and electrifyingly yours.
This '90s Japanese gem isn't just a guitar; it's a time machine ticket to the golden era of axe-slinging legends – think Bruce Springsteen meets The Edge, with a dash of your own untamed spirit. Freshly serviced by luthier pros, she's plugged in, tuned up, and zeroed in at 100% play-ready. Gig bag included – just add strings, sweat, and swagger!

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
