This is a custom built Seinfeld ‘Costanzacaster’ guitar I made. It is the first guitar in the Seinfeld guitar series (See my other listings for Jerry and Kramer).
The neck is (I believe) a Squier Stratocaster neck and the body is birch plywood. The guitar is setup correctly and plays great. Action is low, neck stays true. The pickup is a Fender Telecaster nut wired directly to the output jack; no volume or tone knobs. It actually sounds pretty good. Was gigged with twice, did a great job.
I am not a luthier and this was my first ever guitar so the price reflects that. There are some minor blemishes stemming from beginners error when building, such as the graphic pulling away from the body in a few small spots, and the clear coat cracking. It’s got some goofs but if you want a guitar that will turn heads and get people talking and laughing, this is it.
There is only one George Costanza guitar in the world and this is it. It’s not a perfect guitar, but it plays well and it’s fantastic to have!
