Looking for a responsive, warm drum head with a decidedly retro look and feel? This Evans Calftone Bass Drum Head is a great choice. The synthetic fiber coating adds a little bit of extra focus to the sound, and give a vintage look to your drum kit. The Evans Calftone is a single ply bass drum head, made with one 12-mil ply and a special synthetic fiber top layer that's designed to have the look and sound of calfskin, with an added boost to mid and low frequencies. These heads produce a slightly warmer sound than other bass drum heads, while still retaining some brightness to the attack. Evans Calftone Bass Drum heads are manufactured right here in the USA, and are available in sizes from 16" to 26". We carry the full line of Evans Heads at Drum Center of Portsmouth.
