Up for sale is my 1958 Harmony Roy Smeck that was fully rebuilt by Scott Baxendale and turned into something way beyond what these old Harmonys ever were from the factory. If you know his work you already know how much life he pulls out of these guitars. This one went through the whole conversion process including a neck reset refret new bridge saddle nut tuners and the full X brace rebuild inside. It plays like a modern boutique acoustic but still has that dry vintage character you only get from old wood. The Harmometal binding is original and pretty hard to find on these. Action is set medium to low and it’s honestly a super easy and enjoyable guitar to play with a clear balanced tone and plenty of volume. It has that punch and responsiveness the old ladder braced versions never had. A really great vintage-meets-modern instrument for someone who wants something unique but professionally rebuilt the right way. Let me know if you want more pictures or sound clips.
