The 2018 Gibson SG Standard features a mahogany body and neck with a Slim Taper profile, a rosewood fingerboard with white binding and acrylic trapezoid inlays, and a 24.75" scale length. It is equipped with Burstbucker '61R (neck) and '61T (bridge) humbuckers, and a nickel-plated hardware setup including a Tune-o-matic bridge and locking tuners. A notable aspect of this year was the use of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) system for the electronics.
