Wampler’s The Compulsion Drive (tcd) pedal dishes out rich, dynamic saturation to ignite your guitar tone and send it to new heights. Based on the immensely popular MOSFET-driven circuit, the tcd offers an expressive array of grit with its intuitive 3-band EQ and Drive controls. The one option that has Sweetwater guitarists leaping for joy is the Mode switch, which shifts from a classic overdrive to highly expressive, touch-sensitive saturation that produces amp-like dynamics and blooming harmonics. As if this wasn’t enough, the tcd features two internal switches to add extra bass and distortion — perfect for filling out a single-coil sound. Whether you need an extra boost of sustain or a searing sonic foundation for your pedalboard platform, the tcd will have your back for years to come.
