Danelectro “Coral” Electric Sitar 1967
Condition: “Fair”
Notes
- The guitar shows typical finish wear for an instrument from the late 60s. There is checking in the gloss neck finish and the body shows discoloration, marks, scratches, dings, etc…
- Currently it is strung with 10-46 strings with a wound G. The necks on these are non-adjustable but have two steel beams running through them. Considering all this the neck is relatively straight which is great.
- The spruce core and masonite top and back have had some separation / movement at their glue joints. They’re stable but visible and have caused some gaps or finish damage. It seems to be common on these due to the construction.
- In general the hardware is aged / has patina.
- No harp tuner is included for the sympathetic strings.
