This lady is almost like new: no scratches, no dents, no tarnished hardware – just light signs of use. A truly fine semi-hollow!
We freshly leveled and polished the frets and gave her a full setup. The result: perfect playability and a smooth, rounded feel. The neck sits very comfortably in the hand; it’s a bit chunkier with a D-shaped profile, giving the guitar extra stability and substance.
The original pickups were replaced with two Yamaha VH5plus humbuckers – a very successful upgrade. They sound clean, clear and far less boomy, making them excellent for clean to crunch tones. They also perform beautifully under distortion – articulate and free of muddiness. An Orange Drop capacitor provides extra clarity on the bridge tone control. The upgraded knobs add a touch of visual class as well.
