This is a super cool 1986 Peavey Patriot that's definitely been personalized over the years, but is ready to see many more stages!

The neck on this guitar is in good shape and is straight, the truss rod moves very comfortably. The frets are probably going to need to be done sooner rather than later thought there are no major dead spots on the fretboard. The action is low and comfortable. Tuners are in working shape though the high E is a little crunchy when turned. Still works fine just a bit stiff. The bridge works as exactly. The pickup has been swapped for some early DiMarzio aftermarket humbucker. Unsure of the exact model but it sounds awesome! The potentiometer has been cleaned out with contact cleaner and is in good shape. The barrel input jack is starting to go but isn't a major issue yet. The wiring on this guitar is pretty heinous but considering everything works as it should I just left it as is. (I have since replaced the barrel jack and swapped out the hot and ground wires from the potentiometer to the jack as they were particularly heinous)

Cosmetically this guitar used to be red but at some point was stripped, sanded, and clear-coated to a natural finish. Honestly looks quite nice and helps make a lot of the dings and blemishes blend in nicely. Someone has carved a peace sign into the back of the guitar which is not ideal but at least it's the back. Also someone left a little Easter egg note in the control cavity shielding "This guitar is POSSESSED!" and "Hi Tom!"

This thing is just oozing charm and needs to see some more gigs. Ready to rock!
