Super cool Fender American Standard Stratocaster with factory-equipped Roland ready electronics.
The high E string is not picking up when plugged into a Roland GR-1 unit we used to test this. The other 5 strings do register, and the guitar generally seems to function as intended. Due to this issue, as well as cosmetic condition, this guitar is sold as-is for repair. There is evidence of the guitar having service / wiring touch ups, but the electronics do appear to all be original components. Many plastics, such as the pickguard, pickup covers, and backplate appear to be later replacements. Many screws also appear to be replacements.
The guitar does function as intended when plugged into an amp, and when not using the Roland electronics, this is a fantastic (well played in) American Standard Stratocaster.
Cosmetically this guitar shows a lot of wear with notable scratches, dents, chips, and dull spots throughout the finish, as well as parts of the finish that have worn through. The neck, as well as plastics also show notable cosmetic wear and imperfections throughout. The frets do play well with normal play wear.
As noted, many pieces are later replacements, including plastics, screws, the tremolo arm, and bridge saddles (OEM Fender block saddles)
