Named after The Clash song written about punk rock outfit MC5 axe-man and activist Wayne Kramer, the Jail Guitar Doors Overdrive encapsulates the raucous attitude of Wayne’s wailing guitars — and sense of activism. MXR teamed up with Daredevil Pedals founder Johnny Wator to design a no-frills distortion box to get you from quiet calm to rock meltdown in an instant. This numbered, limited-run pedal comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and proceeds from sales will directly benefit Jail Guitar Doors USA, a Los Angeles-based non-profit supporting youth and adults impacted by incarceration with music education and life-skills programs.
