The Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary is a 16‑inch wide hollow-body guitar built from laminated maple with Gretsch's proprietary "ML" bracing at a depth of 2.5″. The body is finished in a striking Two‑Tone Copper Metallic/Sahara Metallic lacquer, bound in white with black purfling around the edges and F-holes.

Its neck is set from maple, carved in a standard "U" profile, with a 24.6″ scale length, and topped with a 12″-radius rosewood fingerboard. The board has 22 medium-jumbo frets and pearloid Neo‑Classic thumbnail inlays. The instrument uses a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut for stable tuning.

Electronics include a pair of FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups offering classic Gretsch chime and bite. Controls feature independent volume knobs for neck and bridge, plus a master volume with a treble-bleed circuit and a master no-load tone pot. The string-through Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece and Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned rosewood base round out the hardware, along with Gotoh locking tuners and nickel fittings for reliable performance.
