Hand-built in the USA, the VT-4 pairs classic passive LC (inductor/capacitor) equalization with Class-A triode vacuum tube input and output stages derived from Fearn's revered VT-1/VT-2 preamps — giving it the same rich, musical sonic character. The design frequencies and curves were voiced entirely by ear, and the result is one of the most musical program EQs ever made.
