Magnetosphere mk2 is an evolution of our legacy 24db resonant ladder lowpass filter.

More than a compact warm filter, it has been redesigned to be also used on its own to create percussive sounds.

  • Self-Oscillation : Fully turn the resonance clockwise to allow the filter to self-oscillate. Additionally, resonance amount can be modulated via the CV input.
  • Envelope Shaping : A fixed vactrol-like envelope generator controlling the cutoff is here to shape percussive sounds when the module is self resonating or accents when paired with an external source ( or the internal noise). This input is dynamic responsive so you can vary the amplitude of this envelope by attenuating your incoming Gate/trig.
  • Classical Modulation :  Desactivate the envelope mode to use the input as a traditional modulation source with an attenuator.
  • Integrated Analog Noise : Features a normalized analog noise source integrated into the input to create airy wooshy sounds
  • Saturate : The Gain knob adjusts the incoming signal’s attenuation or amplification making the possibility to saturate your signal for a grittier sound.
  • Transistor VCA : Because there are never too many VCAs, the magnetosphere has a transistor one who is opened when nothing is plugged into its CV input. The VCA has a small filter on its control to remove click when opened with gates.
