This piece is an original Porchboard Bass in excellent condition, with carry bag.
These are near impossible to find and even more so with the carry bag.
The company seems to have been brought back with a new name and a smaller version, which looks nice, but if you’re sitting this version makes a very comfortable shelf for your feet and allows the kick drum beat to feel effortless, ideal for working solo or duo acoustic acts. This Porchboard has a great, warm sound and hits like a kick drum.
25x10x3.5" approx 3-5lbs, I do not have an accurate scale at the time of writing this listing, but can get the accurate weight if requested.
I paid a good amount for this many years ago and have safely stored, so I am asking this price based off its rarity and condition. Feel free to make an offer or ask relevant questions, I’m easy to talk to.
