Gibson Custom Shop Dealer Select 1959 Les Paul Standard BOTB (Beauty of the Burst) Page 78 Murphy Lab Light Aged 8.40 lbs

The Gibson Custom Shop Dealer Select 1959 Les Paul Standard Beauty of the Burst Page 78 is a faithful recreation of the legendary Burst featured on page 78 of Beauty of the Burst. Built by the Gibson Custom Shop and aged by the Murphy Lab, it captures decades of authentic wear, checking, and patina for the look and feel of a well-loved vintage original.

A hand-selected AAA figured maple top rests on a lightweight mahogany body for exceptional tone and resonance. The mahogany neck, reinforced with a maple spline, is carved to the comfortable ’59 V1 profile (.860”–.975”) and topped with a rosewood fingerboard featuring cellulose trapezoid inlays.

Power comes from a pair of Custom Bucker Alnico 3 humbuckers, with the pickups featuring uncovered double-aged white bobbins. The result is a warm, articulate voice that delivers the depth, clarity, and dynamic response of the finest late-’50s Les Pauls.

Period-correct details include Grover kidney-button tuners, an ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum stop bar, True Historic cream binding, gold top-hat knobs, and historically accurate strap button placement.

Comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and certificate of authenticity, this Dealer Select Les Paul is both a collector’s piece and a stage-ready tribute to one of the most celebrated guitars in rock history.
