A Statement-making, Medium-scale Bass Experience the playability of a short-scale bass with the tonal range of a full-scale model in the Gretsch Electromatic CVT medium-scale electric bass. With its 32-inch scale length, this versatile instrument offers a comfortable playing experience without sacrificing the warm, resonant tone delivered by its solid mahogany body and bolt-on mahogany neck. A laurel fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and 20 frets adds character and smooth playability, while a true bone nut, 4-saddle tailpiece, and die-cast sealed tuners provide excellent tuning stability and sustain. Equipped with two Low Down alnico pickups — a single-coil at the bridge and a humbucker at the neck — the Electromatic CVT delivers a wide tonal palette. Independent volume controls and a master tone knob allow for precise shaping of its signature Gretsch sound. Long favored by discerning players, medium-scale basses have amassed quite a loyal following, including many Sweetwater bassists.
