The early '50s Martins hold a special place for many, being a great transition from the pre-war style to the later more sturdier built 60's and 70's models, which oftentimes resulted in them being 'overbuilt' and heavy sounding. This example is lightweight and woody, exactly what you want from a '54 D-18. Its all original minus new bridge pins. Serial #136392, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details and repairs & changes of note.
