The Gibson Les Paul Music City Special – 50th Anniversary is a modern tribute to the innovative spirit of Gibson’s Nashville era, blending design cues from the 1970s Marauder with a nod to the Music City Jr. Introduced to celebrate 50 years of Gibson making world-class guitars in Nashville, this limited-edition model offers both vintage character and modern performance in a sleek, lightweight package.
The solid poplar body keeps things comfortable while delivering clear, punchy tone, and the maple SlimTaper neck with a striped ebony fingerboard offers fast playability across 22 medium jumbo frets. Dual 70s Tribute humbuckers provide a wide sonic range — from bright cleans to thick, driven tones — controlled via a simple yet versatile master volume, master tone, and 3-way selector setup. Chrome hardware, a black 5-ply pickguard, and commemorative 50th anniversary truss rod cover complete the bold look.
