Up for grabs is a used with average relic'ing (from real player's wear, use, & age) Fender Black Split-Coil Mexican Standard Precision Bass pickups. Alnico 5, Split-Coil. 10.5k (full strength / fully functional). From 1994 Fender Mexican Standard P Bass.

  • silver screws included (two pairs)- also relic'd / aged.

The last two pictures show pictures (of the headstock and of the body) of the 1994 Fender Made in Mexico) Mexi P Bass that this pickup set + screws came off of. The bass is NOT included / NO other parts included. These last two pictures are only provided as a reference.

I put the condition as GOOD. But I feel that this pair of pickup is in between Very Good and Good shape. The screws are in Good shape. If going by a relic'd criteria - then the pickups are in VG shape.

In a couple of the pictures - I've indicated which is the neck pickup and which is the bridge pickup.

  • NECK pup has Blue & Black wires.
  • BRIDGE pup has White & Black wires.

NOTE: In case you are going for that total relic'd look - I did not clean off any dust, etc.

Both Covers (Main Top Side Areas of the Pickups) have very light & light surface scuffs, some surface cloudiness, some surface shiny spots / lines. Some of the scuffs are vertical lines (caused from the strings). There is also some surface discoloration - but the discoloration is not visible since the covers are black (it appear as scuffs & cloudiness).

  • For the BRIDGE pickup -- there is also a tiny nick and a light very short dash scratch.

Both Covers (Top Side Edges & Corners of pickups) - Some areas have tiny & very small nicks. Also - For Both Top Right Edges (center areas) and going slightly lower on the Outer Right Side - there is a small nick (caused by the mounting screws and / or cause by a screwdriver when the both right screws were adjusted).

  • For the BRIDGE pickup -- the Top Side Upper Edge and the Top Side Lower Edge each have not too light / not too deep short horizontal line type of wear (like light but visible scallops) in between the E and A areas.

Both covers are on very tight because there is wax.

The under-side of both pups have a rectangle shaped black foam piece stuck up (I think it is taped on - but it might be glued on). Both foam pieces have visible impressions and a couple of tiny & very small nicks. The foam pieces are intact. They are NOT dried out - they are still flexible. Not too hard / not too soft.

The top areas of all of the magnet slugs have discoloration and rust (the amount discoloration / rust varies on each slug piece)

I'm parting out the 1994 Mexi P Bass that these pickup came off of. Starting with this pickup set + screws. Next - in a day or so - (in a separate REVERB listings) - will be the bridge and then the pickguard (white one ply) with the controls & the jack). I'll add the Reverb links for those listings after they are created.

In case you're wondering why I'm doing this. No reason. I was playing the bass the other day (it's not my main bass) and the idea came to me when I saw that the parts were relic'd. And I thought it would be cool to sell them because I know that people like modding instruments with real relic'd parts.

DCR: 10.5k multimeter reader taken on November 17, 2025. Room temperature was 68°F

Wires:

The wires have bends - otherwise they're fine. Basic wire type. There's enough of each wire for installation.

  • Black Wire Length (main Black Wire part): 10 and 3/4 inches
  • Full Black Wire Length (main Black Wire part to End of Short Bare Wire) 10 and 7/8 inches
  • White Wire Length (main White Wire part): 10 and 1/2 inches
  • Full White Wire Length (main White Wire part to End of Short Bare Wire) 10 and 3/4 inches
  • Blue Wire connecting both pickups: about 2 and 3/4 inches

I took several pictures of the pickup and there are a few pictures of the screws & springs. Feel free to ask for more pictures.

NOTE:  There may be some imperfections that I overlooked. There may be some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. There may be some imperfection that look different in person than they appear in the pictures. And - there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (like glares).
