1952 York Master FeatherTouch Trumpet – Excellent Condition – Recently Serviced – Includes Original FeatherTouch Parts (Partial)

This is a 1952 York Master FeatherTouch Trumpet (serial: 177xxx) in very good condition for its age, with roughly 85–90% of the original lacquer still intact. The horn was recently serviced at Meyer Music, where it received a full cleaning, dent work, and valve/slide service.

Valves move smoothly with good compression, and all slides pull easily. This model originally used York’s patented FeatherTouch valve system (U.S. Patent 1,922,685, filed in 1933). Over the years, a lot of these horns were converted to a bottom-sprung setup, mostly because original FeatherTouch springs are hard to source today.

This horn has that standard bottom-spring configuration now, and it works exactly as it should. I still have the original FeatherTouch washers and hardware, and those are included in the case.

The original springs didn’t survive removal — they’re extremely thin and fragile after 70 years — but the parts that matter for identification and completeness are still there.
