The Stratocaster model, which enjoyed great success in the second half of the 1950s, underwent a significant revolution in the early 1960s, featuring the addition of a rosewood fingerboard, a slimmer neck profile, and a set of pickups with a brighter tone.
The Fender American Vintage II 1965 Stratocaster reintroduces the original instrument produced in the mid-1960s and is characterized by an alder body, a maple neck with a fast 1965 "C" profile, a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius, a Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge with an inertia block, and Pure Vintage '65 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil Strat® pickups.
This instrument conveys an authentic feel as soon as you take it up, and when plugged in, it excites with its vintage tone.
The American Vintage II Series features a selection of the most iconic instruments in Fender's history, reproduced with exceptional accuracy in terms of technical, aesthetic, and sound aspects.
