NOTE: I set myself apart with my SETUPS and PACKING (see my feedback). I include setup sheet with each guitar and will even post a Youtube video of setup highlights if buyer requests it. Short video in gallery shows how I pack. Thanks!

This is a 2000 Gibson SG-Z bass guitar in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. Some time in the past it had a neck repair, but it was seemingly done very professionally with a nice big support and refinish in the area.

These were only made for a couple years and the basses are actually much more rare than the guitar version. Mahogany neck and body. 34-inch scale. Split diamond neck inlays and "Z" inlay on headstock. Controls are two Volume and master Tone. The mini-switches have 3 positions and allow for series/parallel/coil tap operation for each pickup so you can get a lot of different sounds.

Bass is in very good cosmetic condition. Electronics work great. Frets in very clean shape. I had to fix the middle knob because one of the split shaft splines broke off but I've got it working pretty well. These are very light basses, so at only 7lbs, 4 oz, it is a bit neck heavy but they are so light they are very easy to play. Comes with a Gator case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Buy from a trusted seller with fast insured shipping. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!

Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
International
Please note, I ship to USA and Canada only, no overseas, Hawaii or Alaska. Thanks.
