Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90 with Laurel FB in Amethyst

I own many guitars, but never had a Gretsch. I started looking for one I might like—some of the Japanese models caught my attention, but not quite enough to buy one. Surprisingly, one of the China-made Gretsch models absolutely stunned me when I saw it. It looked spectacular in that deep purple finish, and it came with P90 pickups—another style of pickup I’d been wanting to add to my collection. While researching the guitar, I found a video by DylanTalksTone, a YouTuber reviewing this exact model for a client. Naturally, he upgraded the stock pickups to his own boutique set.

I loved the guitar so much that I decided to buy it and upgrade it just like he did. Since it was the exact same model, I ordered a boutique-quality P90 set directly from him. I also took the opportunity to install locking Gotoh tuners and a roller Tune-O-Matic bridge to reduce tuning issues caused by the Bigsby.

The guitar arrived new, went straight to the luthier, and was upgraded with all these components. The result is an even more beautiful instrument with a tone that’s full, sweet, and incredibly smooth. Truly high-quality sound.

This guitar is perfect for worship music—its looks are stunning, and thanks to its body and sustain, it never gets lost in the mix. Add a bit of ambient sound and, of course, a touch of Bigsby!

Condition: The guitar is in immaculate shape except for a small ding on the top of the headstock (see photo). No playwear scratches of any kind.
