This is a super solid '57 Reissue Stratocaster! This example was made in 1993 in Japan's Fujigen factory.  The neck profile is definitely true to the '50s feel. This guitar comes factory equipped with Fender USA Vintage Stratocaster pickups, which sound fantastic! This guitar is made up of an Alder body and Maple neck.  

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also a very large finish chip located on the lower side of the body that has been sealed off. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the white pickguard, knobs, and covers, have yellowed from over time. The frets show normal play wear with grooves from over time but otherwise still play great overall. All of the electronics work as they should.  

The tremolo arm and back spring cover are later replacements. Someone had also routed out the bridge pickup cavity to fit a humbucker as shown in the photos. The electronics all appear to be original to the guitar, but some solder points have been touched up.
