Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dale Wilson 50’s Telecaster White Blonde (2025)

Built by Master Builder Dale Wilson, this Telecaster represents one of the finest examples of contemporary Fender craftsmanship, inspired by the early Broadcaster and Telecaster models from the early 1950s.
The instrument features a solid ash body finished in nitrocellulose White Blonde Relic, faithfully recreating the look and feel of an authentic vintage original. The thin finish and natural aging allow the wood to breathe, providing an open and dynamic resonance, while the overall aesthetics strike a perfect balance between authenticity and refined craftsmanship.

The roasted maple neck, with nitro finish and a 1954 “U” profile, offers a solid yet comfortable grip. The roasted maple fingerboard features a 9.5” radius with 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets, ensuring precise intonation and a modern playing feel while preserving the instrument’s vintage character. A 42.4 mm bone nut contributes to clean and natural vibration transfer.

Electronics include a pair of Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted Tele Relic pickups — a Twisted Tele in the bridge position and a Twisted Gold in the neck — wired to a 3-way selector switch with master Volume and Tone controls. The handwired circuitry, using CTS components and a Fender .05 MFD 150 VDC capacitor, delivers exceptional clarity and dynamic response, covering a tonal range from bright, cutting twang to warmer, rounder sounds.

The gold hardware includes a Nocaster Gold 3-saddle bridge, vintage-style Fender tuners, and a ’59-style 5-hole gold anodized pickguard, completing the guitar with an elegant and distinguished look.
