This Martin Keith Elfin 4 was built as a personal instrument for Martin and gigged lightly over the last couple of years. It is a very clean shape with only one or two very very small dimples in the top between the bridge and pick up.
The space is lightweight, comfortable, and has a powerful punch with a strong J-style flavor. Instrument is equipped with Aguilar JJ single coils in custom ebony covers, paired with a Nordstrand 2B+ boost-only 2-band preamp (Active/passive switch is located on push/pull volume control). Weight is approximately 7.5-8 lbs.
The fun feature of this particular instrument is the glow-in-the-dark fretboard headstock trim , with matching glow-in-the-dark logo and side dots. These are all made from the popular Luminlay material. Looks great on stage or even hanging on the wall - see photos!
