Great playing MIM Strat with Reverse Headstock (a la Hendrix style). also installed are Fender staggered locking tuners and a black Graphtech Tusq XL nut. Volume and Tone knobs as well as the Pickup covers have been swapped out along with the Neck Plate for a blacked-out Gilmouresque contrast look on the 3-ply W/B/W pickguard.
The electronics consist of Fender Tex-Mex pickups, Fender 5-way switch and CTS pots; these pickups test on the meter at N-6.6, M-6.4, B-7.5, and sound great. I compared this to the new Player Plus series that sells for $1100, and though these aren’t the noiseless pickups, they’re very quiet (shielded guard) with the desirable Tex-Mex single coils, providing a more classic Strat sound as well as some extra mojo via a very comfortable playing reverse headstock neck.
This guitar is overall in excellent condition for a lightly played guitar. This has been set up with a fairly low action and Ernie Ball strings (9-42 gauge).
This guitar will ship securely wrapped in bubble wrap, in a hard-cardboard Fender shipping box. flat rate of $50 to the continental US.
