Here was have an insanely gorgeous 2016 Murphy Aged Gibson Custom Shop True Historic 1960 Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Reissue. This guitar was hand aged by the Master himself, Tom Murphy! With Tom taking a step back from doing the hands-on aging these days, we expect his guitars to hold their value and appreciate more in the future, compared to the run of the mill Murphy Lab guitars.This guitar plays and feels amazing with incredible tone for days! It has the typical slim 1960 neck profile for effortless playability and a gorgeous bright and rich cherry red sunburst finish, which perfectly captures the red look of the 1960 model Bursts compared to most faded 1958 and 1959 models. This Les Paul was purchased new from Chicago Music Exchange and has maybe been played 2-3 times for a brief few minutes over the last few years while in our possession.
