Gibson Custom Shop SJ-200 - Norman's Rare Guitars Exclusive - "Western Stars" Double Pickguard 2024 - Burgundy / Red Gloss

This one is absolutely beautiful and in the exact same condition as the day I bought it brand new. This SJ-200 was built by the Gibson Custom Shop as an exclusive model for Norman's Rare Guitars, which Norm specifically spec'd out to match a double-guard SJ-200 that he sold to Bruce Springsteen in the 80's, which Bruce later used in his Western Stars music video.

I'm only selling because I have way too many SJ's, and I'd love to see this one go somewhere where it will be played and enjoyed rather than living in its case (as this one has done since I bought it).

It includes a fantastic integrated LR Baggs pickup system, and has upgraded maple back and sides. You can see a fantastic flame in the back of the guitar, though it's very difficult to catch in photos due to reflections. I took several photos from different angles so you can get a sense, though this one is even more striking in person than in the photos.

The best way to check this one out is in the video I've attached from Norm's from roughly a year ago when this was first sold. This guitar is one of the two featured in the video- I believe it's the one that's directly discussed and shown by Norm at the beginning, though I cannot make out the last digit of the SN in the vid (all other digits match), so it might be the other one if they have consecutive SNs. I believe this is the one played by Kenny in the video.

This guitar has only had a few minutes of play time, and has always been stored in its case in a smoke-free, climate and humidity-controlled home. It's never been dragged to gigs or studio, it looks just like the day I bought it.
