1987 original run LNG #348 with rare palm rest and '87 light pink case

This is currently the best priced LNG in the CONUS and the only one at this price with palm rest and '87 case in the world as far as I can see.

This guitar was sprayed over in another color by the original owner and I meticulously removed the sprayed over finish to reveal the original green finish underneath. It was then buffed and polished by a pro friend. The signature on the back was preserved although I suspect it may have been traced over by the previous owner at one point.

I swapped the original (well worn) Cosmo black trem from

'87 with a new cosmo trem, and the original trem is included in the purchase. It was restored with virtually all period accurate hardware and pickups. The guitar has the typical neck heel cracks and small hairline crack by the nut.

The fretboard toward the nut as been re-glued where it had started to delaminate (also common) and was expertly repaired. There is some chequing on the back toward the bottom of the guitar which apparently is common on original 777s and could probably do with a fret level- but overall it is worn in great and feels and sounds fantastic.

There are some scratches, cracks, chips on this typical for a player condition instrument.

The case is in good shape (latch is working) and a little dirty in the interior. There is some scratching and bruising to the tolex but in remarkably good shape for being almost 40 years old.

With far worse beater examples fetching $8k+ and mint ones commanding $15-20k, this guitar presents beautifully with some authentic player wear, priced accordingly fairly in the middle
