Sire Marcus Miller V3 4-string Bass Guitar Red Satin

The Sire V3-4 Electric Bass in Black Satin is a high-quality yet budget-friendly bass for musicians of all levels. Whether you play rock, jazz, blues or metal, this versatile 4-string bass has the rich, full tone and fast neck to keep up. The V3-4 bass features an agathis body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard that provide a balanced sound with punchy lows, smooth mids and crisp highs. Two pickups -a split-coil J-style neck pickup and a Music Man-style bridge pickup - give you a range of tones to suit any style. With its lightweight, contoured body, the V3-4 bass is comfortable to play during long gigs and studio sessions. For an electric bass that looks, sounds and plays like models twice the price, you can't beat the Sire V3-4.

Split-Coil and Music Man Pickups Create Versatile Tone

The Sire V3-4 bass owes its genre-spanning sound to its pickups. The split-coil neck pickup delivers a warm, rounded tone perfect for jazz, blues and classic rock. The Music Man-style bridge pickup provides tighter lows and more high-end cut, ideal for modern rock, metal and slap styles. Blend the pickups or use them individually to craft your perfect bass tone.

Fast Maple Neck Plays Like a Dream

The bolt-on maple neck, with its smooth rosewood fingerboard, gives the V3-4 bass a fast, low-friction feel that makes intricate bass lines and solos a breeze to play. Its 34" medium-scale length keeps the strings taut for a clear, punchy tone while remaining comfortable for most hand sizes. Dot inlays provide quick visual reference points when navigating the 20 frets.

Lightweight Agathis Body Won't Weigh You Down

The V3-4 bass gets its lightweight feel from an agathis body with contours in all the right places. Agathis, a tonewood related to pine, produces a balanced tone that complements the bass's pickups and electronics. At just 9 lbs, this bass won't leave you with an aching back after a long gig or practice session. Its sleek Black Satin finish gives it a polished, professional look that fits any genre or playing style.

Premium Hardware and Components

From the tuners to the bridge, the Sire V3-4 bass uses components normally found on much higher-priced basses. Chrome tuners keep the strings in tune through energetic playing, while the 4-saddle bridge provides accurate intonation for each string. Pots and other electronics use premium components for an enhanced signal with less unwanted noise. For a bass that looks, sounds and feels like it costs much more, you can't beat the Sire V3-4.
