PRS Private Stock #12144 Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Walnut/Brazilian

Crafted as a true one-of-a-kind instrument, the Paul Reed Smith Private Stock #12144 Custom 24 Semi-Hollow stands at the pinnacle of artistry, tone, and rarity. Hand-selected by Eddie’s Guitars directly from the PRS Private Stock Vault, every wood choice, detail, and finish element represents the finest the Maryland workshop has to offer. Its Walnut top, middle African Mahogany layer, and Walnut back cap come together in a visually captivating and highly resonant semi-hollow construction—delivering both expressive warmth and crystalline note separation. Finished in a High Gloss Nitro Natural stain, the grain displays deep, earthy character while highlighting the modern elegance that Private Stock instruments are revered for.

The neck further elevates the sensory experience, made from solid Mahogany and carved to the iconic Pattern Thin profile for fast, effortless comfort. Topped with a luxurious Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and Curly Maple binding, it blends smooth playability with boutique beauty. Embellished with White Mother of Pearl J-Bird inlays featuring Curly Maple centers, every position marker catches the light with refined sophistication. The matching Brazilian Rosewood headstock veneer, also bound in Curly Maple, boasts a White Mother of Pearl Private Stock J-Eagle with a Curly Maple center—signifying its prestigious origin.

Electronics stay true to the sonic ideal of versatility and clarity that defines the Custom 24 lineage. A matched set of 58/15 LT pickups—wired to a single volume, single tone, and 5-way toggle—unlocks everything from articulate single-coil-style textures to full, dynamic humbucker power. In a semi-hollow format, these pickups bloom with rich sustain and enhanced harmonic presence, ideal for expressive modern players and tone connoisseurs alike.

Premium hardware complements the instrument both visually and functionally: Smoked Black/Nickel PRS Gen III tremolo, Phase III set-screw locking tuners with Brazilian Rosewood buttons, Walnut backplates, a bone nut, and Brazilian Rosewood truss rod cover all reinforce its bespoke design ethos. Even the practical elements reflect craftsmanship.

Every detail radiates exclusivity—from the Curly Maple-bound F-hole to the factory-perfect PRS Signature .010 setup and the presentation-ready Private Stock Brown Paisley case it ships in. Private Stock #12144 isn’t merely a guitar—it is a collector-grade heirloom built to be played, cherished, and admired for generations. A flawless union of tonewood artistry and performance excellence, this Semi-Hollow Custom 24 stands as one of the most distinguished examples ever to emerge from the PRS Private Stock shop.
