Mad Professor Sweet Honey Handwired Overdrive Pedal

Return of the Handwired Series

The Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive Handwired marks the return of Mad Professor’s legendary Finnish-built Handwired Series — now better than ever.

Built with premium through-hole components, Alpha pots and switches, and Switchcraft jacks, each pedal is hand-assembled in Finland and housed in a custom sheet-metal enclosure with top-mounted jacks for easy pedalboard integration.

Your Tone, Your Touch.

The Sweet Honey Overdrive is a dynamic low-gain overdrive that responds to your playing like a great tube amp. Designed to work beautifully with both clean and already overdriven amps, it adds just the right amount of grit and texture—without masking your guitar’s natural tone.

This pedal is all about feel. The amount of breakup is directly influenced by your playing dynamics: pick softly for a clean, warm tone or dig in for rich, organic overdrive. The unique Focus control lets you fine-tune the response and EQ—dial it back for a softer, jazzier feel, or turn it up for a brighter voice with quicker breakup. It's a flexible and expressive tool, equally at home in blues, classic rock, or rootsy Americana.

If you're after a pedal that doesn’t just sound like part of your rig—but feels like it too—the Sweet Honey Overdrive delivers.
