Fender Greta Mini Tube / Valve Amplifier In 99% Mint Condition. Part Of The Fender Pawn Shop Series Of Amps. Professionally Upgraded Valves & Speaker.

Amplifier has had 2 new JJ 12AT7 valves fitted and the usual 4" Visaton R10S 8 Ohm full range 20W speaker. All upgrades have been carried out by a professional Amp Technician. The 12AT7s are a fantastic upgrade for this little amp giving it more useable clean headroom, more volume and more sweeping control on the volume pot before valve and speaker break up. Still gets the distortion but also cleans up easier by rolling off the guitar volume. The volume and tone knobs have also been replaced with 2 push on gold telecaster knobs. (More aesthetically pleasing and to protect the original knobs from wear and discolouration). The original tubes, speaker and knobs are also included and will be sent with the amp. The amp also has an aux input for your mp3 player and an external speaker out (which is when the amp really sounds at its absolute best). The amp itself looks to be completely unused and I bought it from someone who had only used it for a photo shoot and then kept it stored in a display cabinet. No bumps, dings or scratches anywhere. So this amp probably is unused. I've had all the best basic upgrades done and not used it. This amp is only going to sound better once the new speaker is broken in. The Fender Greta has not been in production now for probably at least a decade so these things are getting rarer and rarer (especially in this condition). Sorry but there is no paperwork or box but plenty on line about these amps. Only selling as someone gifted me a Fender Champ which has a slightly bigger speaker.
