Personal Thoughts:
This Dealer Exclusive Flamethrower NOS Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue represents the pinnacle of Fender’s modern Custom Shop craftsmanship — a guitar that combines timeless ’60s character with contemporary precision and top-tier tonewoods.

The NOS finish package gives it that pristine, straight-from-the-factory look — a flawless, glassy nitrocellulose lacquer that will naturally age and check over time. The Lake Placid Blue finish contrasts beautifully with the AAAA flamed maple neck and fretboard, creating a stunning visual centerpiece with boutique-level detail.

Playability is exceptional. The Mid-’60s Oval “C” neck feels fast and refined, while the compound 9.5"–16" radius and 6100 jumbo frets provide effortless bending and a fluid modern playing surface. It’s sleek, resonant, and designed for players who demand perfection.

The Custom Shop ’60s pickups deliver that unmistakable Strat tone — crisp, dynamic, and balanced — with a touch of warmth and harmonic bloom that makes them perfect for blues, funk, or vintage-inspired rock. The modern wiring and 250K split-taper pots ensure precise tonal control, with smooth transitions from clean glassy tones to edge-of-breakup grit.

Every aspect of this guitar reflects the Custom Shop’s attention to tone, feel, and finish. The result is a lightweight, resonant Stratocaster that’s as inspiring to play as it is collectible.
