This is a very unusual guitar, It obviously has been a "lefty" from day one. The only sign it ever was meant to be a right hand guitar is the strap button hole on the body horn but it is quite clear no screw was ever put in the hole and no button ever installed. Note that the neck was not drilled for right handed string trees and the locking nut was never installed, again it is clear that no screw has ever been in the two holes and no sign of the assembly being installed is visible. Also the wear patterns on the neck are pure lefty. The guitar must have been ordered from Japan as a lefty because how in the world would they know not to install the strap button or drill the headstock for the string trees [only lefty's don't need string trees]. The wear marks on the neck are a great indicator of a well played instrument and oddly enough the frets are in excellent condition with only a tiny bit of wear as you can see. This is the real deal, backwards nut and all. A once in a lifetime find of a legendary Stratocaster. Many famous guitarists particularly of the Metal/ Shredder school use this model. The original licensed tremolo and micro tuning system are in perfect woking order. A great chance to steal a legend, I just need the space!!! I will include a brand new tweed hard shell case for $50.
