Full Description

Classic style, modern design

Classic design elements combined with modern construction techniques. This electrified acoustic guitar features a traditional dreadnought shape, which was popular in America in the 1960s. The guitar pays homage to the original models from that era by incorporating features like a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Its top is stained for a striking aesthetic, and the gloss finish adds a touch of elegance. What's more, the South American roupanà bridge enhances the overall look of the instrument.

Building on the success of the original Ranger models, the Eko Ranger VI VR EQ introduces several technical improvements. A bolt-on mahogany neck is featured and topped with a glossy finish, ensuring excellent playability. Additionally, its 25.5" scale length and twenty frets provide a comfortable experience for both beginners and experienced players alike. Its fingerboard's 14" radius is also crafted from roupanà, improving the beautiful tone and resonance.

Beautiful blend of materials

The finest materials have been carefully selected to sculpt this electro acoustic due to their unique tonal properties. Its spruce top provides bright and articulate sounds while the mahogany body adds warmth and depth to the overall sound. These tonewoods work together to create an overall well-balanced harmonic that is suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

The mahogany neck, South American roupanà fingerboard and bridge also play a significant role in shaping the sound of the instrument. The mahogany neck produces warm and smooth tones, while the roupanà fingerboard contributes to the clarity and definition of each note. This combination allows for fast and smooth playing, ensuring the perfect performance every time.

Amplify your acoustics

But what really takes the cake is the Eko's ability to perform in a variety of performance scenarios. Equipped with a Fishman Sonitone electronics system, you can amplify your sound with ease. The onboard preamplifier gives you control over the electric piezo pickup and features convenient volume and tone controls. Take your performance to the stage or record in the studio. Whatever the style, the Eko Ranger has got you covered.
