Tone
This guitar has the kind of mature, woody voice that only decades of playing can develop. The cedar and walnut combination delivers warmth, openness, and exceptional responsiveness, with a beautifully seasoned character reminiscent of a well-played vintage Martin D-18—while retaining the unmistakable Lowden clarity and harmonic richness.
Many players feel the older Lowdens possess a depth and personality that is increasingly difficult to find in newer instruments. This guitar is a fine example of that era.
