A pair of transformer based balancing / attenuator boxes, each with a 1/4” Jack input and a balanced output on an XLR. They were designed to take outputs from a ‘I-Pads’ attenuate & balance them (but could be used in many situations). The input jack is a TRS type so they will accept balanced inputs too, a TS jack plugged into the input unbalances them. They use decent quality transformer's which are housed in mu-metal screening cans. They have approx. 10db of fixed attenuation & a ground lift switch which disconnects the ground between Pin. 1 on the XLR output and the sleeve on the jack input. I built these for a client (these were the prototypes) so they are (well) used with many scratches / scuffs etc but tested & fully working. No offers on these.
